we went to hip diners for dinner tonight.
mixed grill and surf&turf.
the food wasn't as terrible as we expected it to be!

bb likes the brownie and claims that it's even better than ps. cafe's doorstop cake.

bb's addicted to garlic fried rice!
he's always addicted to something.. somehow..



bb's mum brought us out for lunch the other day and introduced us to this restaurant.
she said it was famous for the pork buns so.. we ordered 10 of it for just the 3 of us!





















 bb's mummy loves this panfried red bean pancakes the most and she always order it wherever we go!
this time round.. the pancakes tasted like the frozen ones that i have at home!
okay.. it was decent... but not great!

i was working on bb's birthday itself..
so we had a belated birthday dinner at PS Cafe.

we went straight home after diner cause bb wasn't feeling well..

during work.. i miss home so much..
i wanna go to bb's place to rest and just chill.

before i started work, bb and i had our lovely time spent at home almost everyday..
calling up every delivery hotline for dinner that you can think of.
we had pasta delivery and we sat in front of our comps to chomp down our food while playing dota.

decent, at the very least.

i got to collect my kittycat keychain that finally came in yesterday along with the heart chain.
i'm still feeling happy from my cher bag.
my clutch arrived today.
i finally painted my nails today.

my next item of lust is the panasonic lumix lx3.
i called alan photo and that stupid guy just says "$679 $679 $679!!!!" when i ask him when the promotion ends.

SUCK ANOT, YOU TELL ME.

I am having quite a headache now. It must be due to the lack of sleep from yesterday. By lack  of sleep, i mean no sleep for the entire day at all. Bb and I went to his friends bbq at Downtown East, which was our 2nd this week. To speak of it outright, the food wasn't fantastic. Think hotdogs, hotdogs and more hotdogs. Oh, and stingrays without any seasoning. But.. the company more than made up for it. The company was great and everyone was really friendly and it made everything felt comfortable.

We played Police&Thief, Indian Poker, 7UP, Mahjong and had fun with forfeits or rather, forcing one of his friends, WeiLoong to do his forfeits. It was all of much fun. Then, we made a mistake of watching a really boring movie by the name of Triangle and slowly, everyone fell asleep.

Bb and I kept ourselves awake throughout and went for Macs breakfast at 4am. McGriddles tasted damn yummy. I almost forgot how it tasted like but it is love, once again. We slacked and chatted and even got bored to the extent of playing with the AXS machine. Then, we woke his poor friend up by calling him three times in a row and made everyone woke up when we got back and played a little game of Dai Dee before bb and I went home.

Wow, this is the longest "story" I've ever told of a day. Probably due to the lack of massive pictures.

Now that bb and I have scored ourselves two sponsored tickets to Escape (haha!), I'm finally going to be able to go there for once! Yes, I've never went to escape. Double wow, isn't it.

we were dead hungry by 3pm and so we decided to go off for an extra early dinner.




the waitress said, "hi guys, for lunch?"
and.. the boy said.. "no.. for dinner!"

which made everyone laughed.
i think the waitresses thought it was a sacarstic remark but it wasn't.
it was really our dinner.
yes, our dinner at 3pm.

yes, even when there's 3 of us.

if there's anything about hard rock.. it has to be the HUGE portions that they give.

yesterday was daddy's turn to give mummy a treat!
we went off for dimsum at imperial treasure.
it was fully booked up but we still managed to score a table.






it was mummy's first request when we sat down.

i don't really like it though but everyone had one so i wanted one too?

i had an overload of siewmai.
everyone knew i love my siewmai so they made me eat up one whole basket while they splitted the other one.

the same thing happens for the rice rolls.
i practically gobbled down the whole plate on my own.













the red bean pancake wasn't up to standards yesterday.
bb asked me why i didn't request for them to change it and damn, i forgot all about that.
i'm such a dumbo.

it's been ages since i last ate one!

it was my duty to order the dishes and we ended up with 15 dishes for just four people.
and that's only after we managed to cancel two dishes before it was made.
i think you should never let a greedy person handle the menu!
they'll just end up attempting ordering everything!







dinner was kept simple and i'm just happy i got to eat my favourite brinjals!
i keep missing out on my beancurd.
i shall go pester the boy to eat beancurd with me!

saturday was spent out shopping with the boy.
i didn't get to buy much because every single thing that i wanted out of stock!
ahhh, such luck...

but dinner made up for it.
i treated the boy to ma maison since he's never been there.

the best part of it all was just the sauce.







as much as i'm curious about it, i've never dared to try squid ink pasta.
but i finally got the chance to.


oh.. the boy and i tried out this particular matcha icecream for the first time and it sucks.

yes, i ate up bb's share of sashimi in his set as well.

i used to think to myself..
"if only bb was a sashimi lover.."

but come to think of it.. it ain't that bad that bb doesn't eat his raw food.
cause that only means that i get to HIS share of the awesome food.

how has valentine day been treating you so far?

yes, i am home for valentine's but i'm cool about it.
when it comes to bb and me?
everyday's a valentine's day.
and i'm thankful for that.

life has been good thus far.
if you minus the part about the horrendous exams that i'm going to fail, that is.

i'm lagging behind so much.. i don' t know where to start my pictures from.

work before exam for a day.
pretty awesome pay, i must say.

the only bad part was having exams right after work and having to wake up at an unearthly hour at 4.30am just to reach meritius mandarin on time.

we lazed around in the hotel early in the morning while the boss ordered drinks from the hotel before we cabbed off to the actual destination.

100 bucks for 3 hours of work which was purely giving out of invitations.
i think we spent more time talking, gossiping, bitching and what's not.
and after what seems like just 10 seconds, we were cabbing back to the hotel.
oh, and of course, we grabbed a small lunch before we left from the boss before going off for my exams.

bb and i have been going crazy over the fattiest sins of all.

we've been to manhattan just twice this week.
and i'm not sure how many more times we're going to go next week.
it's no wonder why my "diet" never works!

my angpao business boomed this year.

cheesecakes from hilton are really the best.. so far.
and the funny thing was.. the entire buffet spread from hilton couldn't match up to the little malay corner at the end
nono, not even the personal chefs that were there to cook for you could make up for it.
the satays from the little malay store was truly awesome! 

and i was so thankful that the lion dance troupe was performing at the poolside most of the time.
they walked past the garden tent for a minute and i swear i could have gone deaf if they stayed for another.

and you'll see how gambling works it way into the people's hearts there.
bb told me that someone walked away with $17k in winnings!
and i was just thinking i was an awesome goddess for winning a little money for bb.
$17k.. for real?!?!

we finally went back to thaiex for dinner the other day!
it used to be our usual dinner place but well... bb and i are always on one craze and another and another.

out of all the dishes that i've tried?
prawn toast is seriously their best dish!

today was visit-the-grandma day.
but before visiting, we went to chinatown to get our tummies filled and buy my products!

mumsy wanted to kill me.
we spent more than 100 plus at chinatown just to buy my stuff.


and after visiting, i went shopping with mumsy and auntie!
shopping turned out to be more fruitful for my auntie than anyone else.
i only bought an eyeshadow palette and a white top which was kindly sponsored by mumsy but i'm happy enough!



















dinner at coffeeclub was gooood too.
mocha tropicana, beef doube, seafood lasagne, baked rice with mushroom and whatever and fruity tiramisu.
 seafood lasagne wasn't really good with the fishy smell.
the fruity tiramisu tasted more like icecream cake.
but who cares, i was hungry and yumyumyum, i want more beef!

mumsy was lazy to cook the other day so we went out to get our dinner.


 

i forgot what was the first dish, so-called wasabi prawns, thai style fried fish and longbeans!
 first of all, i have to say.. what kind of wasabi prawn is that?!
but the fish was uber awesome. super sour! i love sour stuff!

i finally got to go to sentosa yesterday!
(THAT STUPID GIRL IS TAKING A MILLION YEARS TO SEND ME THE PHOTOS!)

before we went off, we had to get some stuff to make sure that our tummies are filled.

that girl was so slow.. we took 2 hours just to buy everything!
she even went to buy new shoes before going off.
crazy girl!
but you know what, after we went to sentosa..
she bought herself a new bikini and almost a new shirt too!

but she was even crazier after that.
she made me walk all the way to the most secluded corner right at the other end of the beach because..
she spotted this particular tree from far and she insists that she wants to sit under THAT particular tree!

i don't want to hear her nag at me so i carried like 2kg worth of stuff there and nearly died on the way there!

we wanted to walk halfway to the other beach but we got tired halfway so we decided to stop for icecream.

i haven't been posting as often as i should.



breakfast with bb's family the other day after his bro came back from aussie.
seems like just yesterday that his bro went off.
that's what bb thinks too (which is a bad thing, of course)
hahaha.



i got really excited when i spotted a pasar malam while on my way to bb's place!
when i finally remembered to mention this to bb, bb was as excited as me.
and of course, we quickly made plans to have our junk food dinner there.
ramly burger is like the oiliest, unhealthiest, germ-filled burger ever.
but it just tastes so gooood.
it's no wonder why they say that the unhealthiest foods are usually those that tastes the best.




we went out to get my braces fixed yesterday.
one of the brackets came off and i didn't even realize that until bb told me.
but of course, being greedy, we got our tummies filled before going off for dental.



i couldn't decide between chicken soup or noodles and so what else could the perfect solution be?










bb loves fried rice but he hates fried rice from here.
and so... he only eats here to let me get my xiaolongpaos cravings filled.




instead of having dimsum for breakfast, we had it for dinner.






bo luo char siew bun!
bb doesn't like bo luo buns and i find it weird.
how can anyone not like bo luo buns?!
they are 100x nicer than the traditional white buns or at least that's what i think..




we've been going for green tea flavour whenever we crave for some icecream these days.
bb and me are always on icecream craze.
it's a craze that never dies.



we made a trip down to the japanese supermarket which is awesome!
think endless rows of japanese products!
absolutely lovely.
i can't wait to go there to shop again!
we bought a make-your-own-pudding set!

i got really tired after the whole day.
thank god for cabs!
i should really go pester bb to get his driving license so that he won't have any excuse to not send me home.
hehe.

bb got me some new makeup for christmas!
blusher, highlighter and lipstick.
he's been wanting me to get lipstick for the longest time ever.
so instead of waiting, he got it for me!
hahaha.

and then i realized how much makeup from the same brand that i've gotten within one month.



now i know why i'm so broke.

yay, it's finally christmas and i'm loving it!
i always like the month of december!
can't wait to celebrate xmas eve tomorrow with bb!
